The Osprey at Beaver Creek is offering a package that is bound to catch the eye of parents with young children. The Osprey is treating parents to date night, which includes three hours of hassle-free babysitting at the hotel and two cocktails at the Osprey Lounge to get their date night started.
This slope-side Beaver Creek ski resort combines contemporary design and luxury amenities, including a gourmet tapas bar and lounge with the convenience of a ski in/ski out hotel. With a lift literally right outside our front door, at The Osprey you’re closer to a ski lift than at any other hotel in North America, making it one of the best hotels in Beaver Creek. The resort was recently awarded the Number One Top Resort in the Continental United States by the 2012 Travel + Leisure World’s Best Awards readers survey.
For dinner during the date night, the hotel’s concierges recommend two outstanding restaurants in Beaver Creek. The first, Beano’s Cabin, is nestled at 9,000 feet on the flanks of Larkspur Bowl (see photo below). It was one of the first mountainside fine dining restaurants to open in the western U.S. Chef Bill Greenwood has created a menu committed to sustainability, while also delivering upon the restaurant’s award-winning reputation and service that has resulted in numerous DiRoNA awards and Wine Spectator’s Awards of Excellence. Chef Greenwood incorporates the very best and most forward-thinking, eco-friendly production techniques and combines this with his creative flavors, cultivated in his upbringing in his father’s restaurant in Atlanta.
For Italian food fans, the concierge recommends Toscanini, which is located at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain, next to the skating rink in the heart of the village. The alpine backdrop is spectacular while the atmosphere is lively and informal. The cuisine is stylish and contemporary, the flavor authentically Italian. Watch Chef Tyler Cyre prepare individual pizzas, house-made pastas, and fresh seafood in the open kitchen. Enjoy a selection from its award winning, 100% Italian wine list. The restaurant’s newly expanded bar and lounge is the perfect stop for cocktails or dinner.
The Date Night package is available for stays now through August 31, 2014 with a minimum stay of two nights. Guests must book the babysitter through the Osprey concierge at least four days in advance. The direct phone number for the concierge is (970) 754-7350. Advance reservations are recommended for those wanting to dine at Beano’s or Toscanini, which can be made by the Osprey’s concierge as well. The Osprey at Beaver Creek is a RockResorts property. Room reservations can be made on The Osprey at Beaver Creek’s website.
