English artist Damien Hirst will be joining forces with Alexander McQueen to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the brand’s signature skull scarf. Hirst has signed on to create thirty limited edition designs, which will appear on a collection of scarves.
The collection will be inspired by Hirst’s famed Entomology series, which uses colorful insects to create kaleidoscopic artwork. The insects will form geometric shapes, laid out to create the iconic McQueen skull motif.
The Hirst/McQueen scarf collection will be available in chiffon, pongé, twill and cashmere. It launches in November.
