By collecting beautiful spaces under a modern roof, Dubai-based Topos Design Studio proved they can shape a fascinating dream home. The Sunset Residence, situated in a private cul-de-sac, displays a two-level U-shaped architecture defined by the constant connection between the interior and the exterior. Located in Bukit Timah, Singapore, the single family residence hides its fascinating interiors behind a modest front facade. Once you step inside, the imposing structure reveals itself, surrounding a luxurious swimming pool and capturing glimpses of the light-flooded interiors.
Simple, captivating interior spaces tell the story of a contemporary lifestyle defined by comfort and relaxation. Facing inwards towards the swimming pool, all the spaces are brightly lit and benefit from natural ventilation due to the residence’s orientation. The owner’s furniture collection had to be the main focal points, so the residence’s color palette was reduce to four tones, stylishly capturing the essence of each design line. Refined aluminum louver systems shade the second floor, where the private spaces were placed, while the first floor displays an elegant suite of social spaces the owners can be proud of.
