Capturing views of the Sonoran desert around, the structure is composed of rectilinear shapes, soften by details like the circular outside stairs or the smoothly rounded form of the stone fireplace. Expressing a simple elegance, as the brief requested, this residential structure showcases the architects’ focus on keeping a seamless transition between indoors and outdoors. Flooded with light through a series of horizontal windows, the interiors are charmingly designed, as to offer comfort and peace to this desert oasis.
