Splendid interiors, a fabulous landscaped property and exceptional views – these are the main characteristics of today’s dream home – Blue Jay Way Residence by McClean Design. Located in Los Angeles, California, the luxurious villa occupies 7,000 square feet and displays a beautiful, modern palette of materials – concrete, wood and stone. Perched high above Sunset Strip, the astounding residence gathers panoramic views of Los Angeles all the way to Santa Monica, the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island.
Displaying a modern space design broken in two by the pool and water feature, the single family residence seems to be centered on living close to the surroundings. Spectacular details make up this home’s style, starting with the fascinating main entrance – a glass bridge over the pool. “This is the central design element of the project. It begins by the driveway as a water wall around which the entry sequence is wrapped. Upon ascending to the main level of the house, the water element becomes an ornamental pool before dropping into the spa below, after which it becomes a 75 foot long lap pool the end of which is cantilevered over the slope into the view.” Living and entertaining spaces are displayed on one side of the pool, while the master bedroom with bathroom and study area occupy the other side. Guestrooms below welcome friends and family and a media room offers entertainment and relaxation.
