When it comes to megayachts these days everyone’s looking to be more technologically advanced, ecologically sound, multi-decked and heli-padded than the other guy. So it’s refreshing to see someone trying to recapture the yachting days of yore, when elegance was at a premium and style mattered most. Neil Taylor was looking around for a classic yacht to restore along the lines of financier J.P. Morgan’s famed Corsair, but just couldn’t find anything that fit the bill. Did he give up? No he did not. He simply started his own damn shipyard – named Corsair in honor of old J.P. – and built the boat of his dreams. – From James List
