Just as most horror movies have sequels, Halloween queen Janelle Monáe brings her Wondaween’s Creature Carnival back to life for the second year at a secret Los Angeles location. This holiday, Monáe is taking fans inside Creature Carnival, the next chapter of her ever-evolving Wondaween universe, promising an even bigger and more imaginative celebration filled with music and fantastical creatures.
“Halloween has always been my favorite time of year because it gives us all permission to gather, transform, create, and step into the wildest parts of our imaginations,” said Janelle Monáe. “Community, storytelling, costumes, and creativity are at the heart of Wondaween, and it was amazing building my Vampire Beach world together with Bacardi last year. 1.5 oz Bacardi Superior
1 oz Lime Juice
0.5 Simple Syrup
0.25 oz Grenadine
8-10 Mint Leaves
Top Soda Water
Method: Muddle mint with lime and syrup. Add Bacardi and crushed ice. Stir gently to combine, then top with soda water. Drizzle grenadine over the top of the cocktail for a spooky effect and garnish with a mint sprig.
