Guests sailing on Holland America Line’s Caribbean cruises this season will discover a refreshed RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay,where a series of enhancements brings even more ways to dine and unwind ashore. The transformation kicks off a yearlong celebration of the destination’s 30th anniversary in 2027.
Among the additions are a food pavilion serving an island-inspired barbecue menu, and an exclusive Beach Club experience. Additional enhancements include upgraded cabanas, refreshed clamshells and daybeds, renovated bars and eateries, and pickleball courts. The updates build on the island experience that has made RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay a guest favorite for nearly three decades.

“Every enhancement at RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay is centered on creating an even more exceptional experience while building on everything guests already love about the island,” said Beth Bodensteiner, president of Holland America Line.
The new Beach Club pairs Holland America Line’s signature palette of blue, orange and cream with natural textures and relaxed, open-air spaces, for a distinctly Caribbean setting. Guests who purchase a day pass for the Beach Club, will receive priority tendering from the ship to the island. The Beach Club will also feature waiter service, all-inclusive alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and beach accessories.

Outside of the Beach Club, a new food pavilion will offer a complimentary island-only menu, and existing bars and eateries are being renovated. Cabanas are being upgraded, the beach area will offer more daybeds, and four pickleball courts have been added.
Holiday itineraries in 2026 range from seven-day escapes to extended journeys that combine classic Caribbean favorites with less-traveled islands, historic ports and even a Panama Canal cruise, allowing travelers to trade a traditional winter holiday for time in the tropics.
