David Beckham will be starring in a new campaign film for his H&M bodywear line shot by the Danish director Nicolas Winding Refn, which will be screened during the NFL Super Bowl set to take place on February 2. From January 27 you’ll be able to log onto the H&M site and pick the final choice between two different adverts, and the one with the highest number of votes will be screened on February 2.
“It was so exciting to work with one of my favourite directors, Nicolas Winding Refn, on my new campaign for H&M. Nicolas pushed me hard to create an action-packed film, which shows off this season’s new heritage-inspired bodywear at its best,” said Beckham.
In the films, Dave will be showing off pieces from his Spring-Summer 2014 collection, as well as the ‘Mini-Me’ line for kids which is set to launch January 30 (we imagine Beckham won’t be modeling these himself). The footballer’s last ad for the line was shot by British director Guy Ritchie and became a social media hit.
“I loved working with David for his new campaign” added Nicolas Winding Refn. “He is a natural in front of the camera, and was fearless when performing his own stunts. The campaign is funny, smart and spectacular, and shows the many different sides of David’s personality.”
The collection will hit stores and online on January 30.
