Bombardier’s new Global 7000 and 8000 aircraft are set to be the most expensive business jets in the world – with a price tag of $65 million.
The two new jets from the Canadian plane maker won’t be available for purchase until 2016 and 2017.
They will deliver a range of 7,300 and 7,900 miles, respectively. Both can reach a high speed cruise of Mach 0.90. The planes are based upon the Global Express XRS and 5000, but will have new wings, top-of-the-line tech and luxury amenities. Bombardier is aiming the jet at ultra-wealthy business consumers in the Middle East and growing Asian market.
