We’re frequent visitors to auction website 1stDibs.com for our jewelry finds, and this morning’s discovery yielded a new treasure: a $2.5 million, 55.66-carat natural fancy vivid yellow diamond tennis bracelet from New Orleans based jeweler M.S. Rau Antiques. The GIA-certified stones have a clarity grade ranging from internally flawless to SI1, with the largest (center) diamond totaling 4.24 carats, and the “vivid” color is the highest grading given to yellow diamonds. Three of the stones, including the 4.24 carat center, are internally flawless. The bracelet is composed of 25 stones set in 18k yellow gold.
Sure would make a nice Mother’s Day present, don’t you think?
