Hermes pulls Apple into the world of fashion with special leather bands exclusively designed for the Apple Watch. The American multinational technology company has teamed up with the French luxury fashion house to launch the Apple Watch Hermes.
With an intention to give a luxurious facelift to the Apple Watch, Hermes has designed special leather bands as well as watch face for the new edition. Sporting Hermes’ signature leather with a specially designed user interface, the watches will lure all those well-heeled Apple fans who itch to add some exclusivity to up the ante.
The new collection, featuring three new bands in brown leather with white stitching and watch faces, clearly reflect Hermes’ branding. The Single Tour, Double Tour and Cuff add oomph to the smartwatch with a single leather loop, a double loop and a classic cuff.
“When we created the Apple Watch, we knew we had to be an expression of your personal taste and style,” Jeff Williams, Apple’s senior vice president of operations, said in announcing the Apple Watch Hermès.
Prices range from double loop ($1,250), a single loop ($1,100-$1,150) and a wider cuff ($1,500) — with a custom digital face to match. Apple Watch Hermes will launch in October.
