25 square meters is sometimes enough space to develop a business if you have the right product, location and design. This is proven by The Gourmet Tea – a fabulously playful installation that holds the secret for a small but successful business. The third store opened by The Gourmet Tea brand is located in São Paulo, Brazil, in a place few would have thought the store fit. Dynamic volumes open and close to interact with the customer’s needs and offer an incorporated brand experience.
Offering 35 organic tea varieties, this tiny but eye-catching “booth” opens its plywood parts to reveal an even more colorful display of products. Designed by Alan Chu and Cristiano Kato, this volumetric, versatile space hides the brand identity behind one of the colored squares on top, while other geometric cut-outs reveal storage space and an easy to open counter space. Inspired by the brand’s bright and alluring packaging style, this store – as well as the other two – welcomes customers with an eye-catching display of colors.
