Who can knock Angry Birds from the top of the Apple apps charts? The answer: an 8th grade boy from Utah.
Robert Nay, a 14 year old from Spanish Fork, Utah, created Bubble Ball, a “physics puzzle game” for Apple devices. The game has moved to the top of the iTunes free apps chart with more than 2 million downloads. Nay learned how to code the game by getting a programming book at the library. He spent a couple of hours a day programming for about a month, ultimately writing more than 4,000 lines of code. Bubble Ball is a multi-level physics puzzle involving a bouncing ball and moveable ramp.
Bubble Ball is available for download at the App Store and Android Marketplace.
