A rare piece of Apple history will go on sale later this month.

Christie’s will auction one of Apple’s first product – the Apple-I personal computer. The computer is expected to sell for between $160,000-240,000.

Approximately 200 units of the Apple-I were hand-built by Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak in 1976. The computer sold for $666 at the time. It is estimated that no more than 50 of the units still exist today.

This particular computer has some interesting accessories – including the original shipping box and the Apple-I cassette interface, as well as a signed letter from Apple cofounder Steve Jobs. The return address on the packaging shows that the unit shipped from Jobs’ parents’ house.
