Renowned architectural firm Kohn Pederson Fox has recently released images of a new condo complex that is currently under construction in the Tribeca neighborhood. 111 Murray Street will be an architectural focal point of Tribeca; at 58 storeys tall, it will just outstrip the 57 storey tower by Herzog & de Meuron which is at the moment nearing completion.
111 Murray Street will offer luxurious units ranging in price from $1.5 million to $18.5 million. The building will also offer numerous communal spaces and amenities, including a patisserie and a grand dining room overlooking an enclosed garden. The tower’s lounge will feature a stone and steel fireplace, and the focal point of the room will be a waterfall and reflecting pool.
The designers of 111 Murray Street are dedicated to making the exterior of the building look as luxurious and inviting as its interior. The building will have a unique shape, making it a new and distinctive part of the city’s skyline. “The sculptural tower gently expands as it moves upwards, culminating in a graceful, distinctive crown,” said the project team. “The crystalline facade is visually striking from both outside and inside the building, offering uninterrupted views of the city and its surrounding rivers in every direction.”
