The 25-acre gated estate in Beverly Hills is owned by real estate entrepreneur Jeff Greene. The Mediterranean-style villa was put up for sale market in November. While Greene bought the property in 2007 for $35 million, he has invested eight years and many millions to give it the title of America’s most expensive home.
The mansion spreads over 53,000 square feet, with 12 bedrooms including a 5,000-square foot master suite, 23 bathrooms, a 15,000 square foot entertainment center with bowling alley, 50-seat movie theater, a discotheque, a 27-car garage and 25 acres of grounds including a vineyard, 150-person infinity pool, 128-foot reflecting pool, a spa, a barbecue area and tennis court.
While the the beautiful vineyard produces 400 to 500 cases of wine a year under its own private label, Beverly Hills Vineyards, one of the wine cellar on the estate can store 3,000 bottles and the second can hold about 10,000 bottles and additional barrels.
