Buick Riviera Hybrid Plug-In Concept debuts at Shanghai Auto Show

This is definitely not your father’s Buick. American auto maker Buick is making an attempt to revitalize the iconic brand. At the New York Auto Show last month, Buick introduced three new sedans. Now comes another debut – the Buick Riviera hybrid concept car. Unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show, the Riviera concept is a huge leap for Buick. The vehicle sports futuristic aesthetics, advanced technology, and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle propulsion. The plug-in hybrid system that can be recharged wirelessly.

Some prominent design features of the new Riviera are gullwing doors, wing-like daytime running lights and a re-imagined waterfall grille.

Buick has not revealed many details on the concept, but the new Riviera captured a lot of the buzz at the Shanghai Auto Show.
