Think your precious Fido could use a Fitbit?
Paby, a global Pet Tech company, recently introduced a 3G wireless smart pet tracker ($79.99) that monitors your pet’s location and activity. Think of it as a combination FitBit/LoJack.
Not only does it relay some interesting information, but the real-time, highly accurate tracking information may provide the ultimate peace of mind when it comes to your furry loved ones’ safety and wellness.
You can pair Paby’s durable and waterproof band — available in a variety of colors and patterns and sized to fit any sized collar — with the company’s free app to know your pet’s number of steps, calories burned, sleep patterns and the intensity of their play time.
Like many common human exercise trackers, the app will give daily exercise recommendations based on your pet’s breed, weight and age.
The pet tracker instantly tracks a wearer’s location via Google Maps, but also allows users to set “virtual fences” using their smartphones to receive real-time alerts when their pets leave the designated “zone.”
You track your own activity. So why not your pet’s?
