Residential illumination challenges designers to come up with new and exciting designs that can be chosen to fit the style represented by your home. Woven lamps are sometimes a perfect fit in a home, especially if the size and color can be individually chosen. With this in mind, designer Anna Szczesna imagined a collection descriptively entitled “Woven Lamps”.
Resistant polyester tapes and ropes were used to create a specific pattern around the steel structure of each lamp. Attention to detail shaped a collection of intricately designed lamps, each handmade to be uniquely beautiful. Fortunately, they come if different colors and sizes, so you can match them to either a colorful or a sober environment. Illuminating with a warm glow patterned by the intricate woven design, the Woven Lamps helps create a carefully crafted atmosphere in any space.
“The inspiration came from art crafts, found in different cultures, regions and countries, that use textiles, waved wicker, palm tree leaves or different fiber types. The concept was to use the art crafts techniques and introduce them to the modern language, using resistant materials, to give to the products the durability, quality and make it more resistant.”
