The sun is shining at its best which in turn urges the trendsetters to cover their eyes with the best and the most stylish shades. The season’s haute accessory is already making a dazzling statement in Dubai! Made by De Rigo Vision, Chopard has put up the world’s most expensive sunglasses at Paris Gallery in Dubai. Worth $408,400, these bejeweled shades debuted in March 2012 in Milan and May onward the sunglasses are wooing HNIs and shoppers in Dubai. Dubbed as shopper’s paradise, Dubai is the most ideal and one of the sunniest destinations for displaying the sunglasses that carry the crown of world’s most expensive. The pair was first introduced at one of the prestigious Dubai resort, One and Only Royal Mirage. From there it moved on to lure visitors at Middle East’s leading luxury retailer, Paris Gallery’s outlets at Mall of Emirates and Dubai Mall. This unique summer accessory is not only designed to keep the sun out but also flaunt one’s wealth right on the nose bridge.
For all those who haven’t yet read about this ornamental designer accessory, take a look at the blinged details of Chopard’s diamond-studded sunglasses.
The glasses are shaped out of 60 grams of 24 carat gold and adorned with 51 full-cut 4 carat River diamonds. The diamonds on the frames are set by using a specific technique that places the stones closer together. This premium setting gives rise to a carpet pattern that lets out an exceptional glow. Chopard’s C- logo sits on the temples which stands out in form of a stove enamel created by using colored glass powder.
According to Emirates247, MS Reddy, General Manager, Derivision FZCO, which represents the brand in the UAE and the Middle East, said: “We have been delighted to market the exclusive collection of Chopard eyewear at Paris Gallery. The exclusive eyewear appeals to an explicit group of fashionistas and we are excited to see the response as it is a great addition to our collection.”
De Rigo Vision is the world leader in the design and production of high-end luxury glasses.
