We are back with Alessandra Ambrosio and her current role of Victoria’s Secret Angel to wear the 2014 Dream Angels Fantasy Bras. Each year the largest American retailer of lingerie hosts the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show which stars the latest Fantasy Bra. This year however it is a double treat as for the first time, two fantasy bras are created. 2014 is a year of firsts as also for the first time the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is scheduled to take place in London. Since it requires two Angels to model both the bejeweled bras, for the first time also two Brazilian models, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, will share the honor of wearing the Fantasy Bra on the runway. Each worth $2,000,000, the 2014 Dream Angels Fantasy Bras are designed exclusively for Victoria’s Secret by Mouawad and were showcased at the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas.
The intricately ornamented pieces of artwork are designed with over 16,000 rubies, diamonds, royal blue and light blue sapphires stranded together with 18 carat gold. These bras are complemented with arm, leg, stomach and neck pieces that are also made wtih dazzling gemstones strung together with gold chains. Victoria’s Secret also stated that it took more than 1,380 hours to create the bras and accompanying body pieces.
Inspired by the magic of faraway land the one-of-a-kind Dream Angels Demi Bra & body Chain gift set modelled by Ambrosio radiates with more than 5800 red garnets, blue sapphires, blue topaz, yellow quartz, agate stones and diamonds set in gold. In all it weighs 2,688 ct. The bejelwed artwork flaunted by Lima dazzles with more than 10,000 amethyst, blue topaz, blue sapphires, blue agate stones and diamonds. The blue edition weighs 6,634 carat.
The annual unveiling event preceded the 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show which is scheduled for December 9. While the gorgeous Ambrosio was clad in a sexy sheer ruby red Donna Karan gown with a plunging neckline for the event, Lima was dressed in a less-revealing midnight blue dress featuring sequins embellishments.
Last year, Candice Swanepoel modeled the 2013 Royal Fantasy Bra worth $8 million along with a $2 million belt.
