The annual fashion show of the largest American retailer of lingerie is one of the most watched event globally. The 2014 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show featured the most gorgeous models clad in exclusively designed stunning costume lingerie. For the first time in the show’s history, Victoria’s Secret’s biggest ever show was held at the vast Earls Court exhibition center in London on 2nd December. Except for some lucky spectators who watched it live, the rest of the world sat glued to their televisions to watch the full show on 10th December. The lavish event highlights elaborate lingerie creations with complementing set designs as well as incredible musical performances.
While Victoria’s Secret Angels Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Behati Prinsloo, Karlie Kloss and more raised the temperature by sashaying down the runway in sizzling creations, the entertainment quotient was upped by amazing performances from Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran and Hozier!
Forty seven Angels were roped in for this year’s spectacle decked out in ensembles with oversize butterfly wings, feather skirts and gold knee-high stiletto boots.Candice Swanepoel opened the annual lingerie extravaganza by strutting down the runway in angelic golden wings for the Gilded Angels line.
While Donaldson dazzles with 150,000 Swarovski crystals, Goulart put her best foot forward in a pair of sparkling butterfly wings. Karlie Kloss wowed the viewers with a pair of intricate dragonfly wings complete with matching corset.
The showstopper of the event was not one but two Brazilian beauties, Adriana Lima and Alessandra Ambrosio, dazzling in $2 million Dream Angels Fantasy Bras (each) made from rubies, diamonds, sapphires and 18-karat gold.
Lastly all the Angels descended on the catwalk for the final walk with balloons raining down.
