Victoria Beckham kicks off her cannot-be-seen-without heels to pose for British Vogue’s August edition! The 40 year old star is also the first to be featured on two covers for the same issue of Vogue UK.victoria-beckham-vogueMrs. Beckham faced Patrick Demarchelier’s camera for the countryside-theme shoot. While one of the image shows her wearing a Chanel coat, in the second cover image she is seen wearing a Prada outfit and cuddling a cute canine model. However it’s the third image that has made heads turn as the she has shed her usual glamorous avatar to pose in an oversize Max Mara fisherman gray sweater, a floppy Stephen Jones hat and eye-catching green Hunter Wellington boots.

Victoria-Beckham-Vogue_UKWWD also reports that the fashion designer’s third Vogue shoot was located at an 18th-century rectory in Hastings, southeast England. Readers will also be treated to Victoria’s fashion editorial shot by Patrick featured inside the magazine.

victoria-beckham-vogue_1British Vogue’s editor Alexandra Shulman explained about her decision to run two covers for the same issue, “I was very keen to run the pictures of Victoria holding the dog but the other was a more obvious image that she looked very beautiful in.” She was confident about Beckham holding the fort strongly with two different images.

The double cover August issue will also ship with an exclusive interview of the lady by British Vogue’s deputy editor Emily Sheffield. A few excerpts from the interview include the designer discussing her turning 40 this year and stating, “I looked at it and said to myself, I have four incredible children, an incredible husband, a business that’s doing very well. I’ve worked hard and achieved a lot. I don’t think I could have achieved much more.’”

Emphasizing about her fitness regime, she mentioned about Gwyneth Paltrow introducing her to Anderson, over dinner in Los Angeles – “I said to Gwyneth that her body looked amazing and she introduced me to [Anderson]. I started when I was pregnant with Harper, it’s very challenging.”
