Fashion hits the road by blending style and speed under the roof of a unique sports car designed by two global luxury brands. British automaker Aston Martin and Italian fashion house Valentino have come together to create a one-off Vanquish sports car through its Q by Aston Martin bespoke service. This exclusive sports car features the Valentino Camouflage livery and carbon fiber trimmings as well the brand’s iconic studs.
Designed by Valentino design directors Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli along with Aston Martin, this fashionable sports car will be auctioned during the Cash & Rocket opening Gala Dinner on 14 May in London, with proceeds donated to the charities involved.Speaking of the partnership as well as its outcome, Marek Reichman Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin quotes, ‘It is very exciting for us in the Aston Martin Design team to work alongside the designers at Valentino and create this unique piece of automotive haute couture. Cash & Rocket is a truly worthy charity, raising awareness and funds for an amazing cause, and we have created a wonderful piece of motoring art to support the auction. This is a unique collaboration and a rare mix of iconic luxury marques, I can’t wait to see the finished car!’The Vanquish Volante is the convertible format of Vanquish, the Ultimate Grand Tourer, representing the height of Aston Martin’s design, engineering, technology and craftsmanship. The 2015 Vanquish Volante is powered by the AM29 V12 engine, acceleration of 3.8secs (0-60 mph) and peak power of 568 bhp ensuring it is the quickest accelerating Volante ever produced.
