Unique Swarovski Crystal Table-Top Heart Is Set To Go Under The Hammer

This Valentine’s Day, gift a unique heart that dazzles with thousands of crystals to your beloved. Swarovski Crystal has designed an exclusive, one-of-a-kind table-top heart to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the “Hearts in San Francisco” project.

Swarovski_Crystal_Table-Top_Heart_2Studded with over than 12,700 Swarovski crystals of different shapes and sizes, the heart has been created by Alice Payr, Claudia Demetz and Monika Fritz. Though conceptualized and manufactured in Vienna, Austria, it will wow onlookers and lure collectors by debuting in the window of Wilkes Bashford, an upscale store in San Francisco, California. The Swarovski studded heart also has a heart of gold as it will be auctioned to save lives. Along with three more table-top hearts and 15 mini-mosaic hearts, this glittering heart will go under the hammer to raise much-needed funds for life-enhancing programs and initiatives at San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center.

Swarovski_Crystal_Table-Top_Heart_4Shannon Amidon, Christine Arthur, Erica Jasmin Cañas, Patrick Dintino are just a few more artists to name who have created large and table-top hearts for the 2014 luncheon, along with the Swarovski heart. The 15 mini-mosaic hearts were created by artists from the Institute of Mosaic Art (IMA) in Berkeley.

Since it is up for bidding just before Valentine’s Day, the Swaroski heart will set the pulse racing at the auction. Lovers as well as collectors will reach to the bottom of their heart as well as their pockets to walk back home with this unique sparkling heart.
