Grammy Awards is certainly about the most outstanding achievements in the music industry of the US. And like every year, 2015 Grammy Awards was no different! While the list of the nominees and the winners is here, our sights were set on the beautiful gowns and the gorgeous ladies at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on February 8, 2015 in Los Angeles, California. The A-listers were out in full strength to make their presence felt with not only their achievements but also their designer outfits.
Sporting her usual red carpet look, Queen Bey stunned in a sparkling sheer black gown with a plunging neckline. Clad in Proenza Schouler, Beyoncé made history by winning three Grammys. Kim Kardashian’s Jean Paul Gaultier too made the cut for best dressed at the ceremony. Did JLo’s Golden Globes Awards outfit inspire Kim to don the high-slit and low-neckline metallic creation?
Though it cannot be categorized as one of the best dress, Rihanna’s Giambattista Valli Haute Couture ball gown stood out for its uniqueness! ‘Only Girl (In the World)’ singer could dare to step out and make heads turn in the voluminous pink gown that can be rudely compared to an over-sized cupcake. Taylor Swift’s take on the Grammy’s red carpet was high on style! She deserved a standing ovation for showing her legs in style in Elie Saab creation. The “Shake it Off” songstress stood out in a teal A-line floor length gown with a high-low front.
Jennifer Hudson played subtle in white Tom Ford fitting dress. The strapless outfit highlighted her neckline as well as her pixie hairstyle. Another diva who opted for shorter length is Nicole Kidman. However she chose to go high on neckline with Thierry Mugler’s black dress with grommet detailing.
Even though Alexandre Vauthier Haute Couture’s black gown featured multiple cutouts and super-low back, it helped the audacious Miley Cyrus to sport a sober look. Also, Katy Perry’s new lavender bob scored high on the red carpet along with her Zuhair Murad Couture creation that was fresh from the Paris runway.
Certainly, the styles sported by the divas at the Grammy 2015 are very distinctive from the most glamorous gowns at Gloden Globes 2015.
