Making its debut in Spain, Tivoli Hotels & Resorts has opened Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife Resort, bringing the brand’s timeless glamor to Tenerife in the Canary Islands.
Located on southern Tenerife’s picturesque Costa Adele coast, — nestled between the mountains and the deep blue Atlantic — the five-star resort offers an idyllic hideaway. Following extensive renovations, Tivoli La Caleta welcomes guests with elegantly furnished guest rooms and suites, exciting dining concepts and a world-class spa, all with panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and the hotel’s beautifully landscaped gardens.
The resort was designed by the award-winning architect Melvin Villarroel, whose designs perfectly combine nature and architecture, bringing to Tenerife the earthy terracotta tones of exotic places while introducing a maze of organic detail via 193,750 square feet of the idyllic, deep-green subtropical gardens. The expansive exterior also provides indulgent sunbathing spaces around the three newly- refurbished, heated swimming pools, the largest with salt water and one for adults only.
Tivoli La Caleta Tenerife has 284 rooms including 20 suites, each elegantly decorated with wood, natural fibers, designer furniture, local art and high-tech comforts. Chic accommodations overlook the sea, tropical gardens and swimming pools. Suite guests enjoy VIP à la carte breakfasts and a selection of complimentary treats at the La Caleta lounge throughout the day.
Dining at Tivoli La Caleta is curated by Olivier da Costa, the celebrated Portuguese chefpreneur whose portfolio of 26 restaurants around the world include destinations from São Paulo to Lisbon and from Rome to Bangkok. The hotel’s four distinctive restaurants are Seen Beach Club by Oliver, featuring bold flavors, exotic cocktails, and a seafront setting; Yakuza, specializing in sushi; Gusto, serves breakfast and a nightly lavish buffet; and Guilty, presenting in a cosmopolitan space near the main pool.
Guests can also enjoy bars around the property, including Spanish wines and cocktails at Alma Cocktail Bar; El Clásico sports bar; and The Guilty pool bar. Suite & Tea tea room serves fine teas from around the world, paired with beautifully crafted macarons and patisseries. A special afternoon tea is also served with a Champagne pairing and chocolate tasting.
The property is located 15 minutes from Tenerife South International Airport, with direct access to the 7.5-mile coastline promenade that connects the village of La Caleta to the town of Los Cristianos.
