The world’s most expensive and outrageously extravagant drinking tour, billed at $1.27 million USD and created for serious oenophiles and spirits aficionados, includes a glass of champagne from a collection worth half a million dollars — and a diamond.
Dubbed the Ultimate Drink Connoisseurs’ Holiday, the tour takes guests on an around-the-world trip centered on some of the rarest beers, spirits, cocktails and wines in the world, including the Armand de Brignac Dynastie, a champagne collection worth almost $556,000.
The Winston Cocktail, which holds the Guinness World Record for being the most expensive in the world, is also on the itinerary.
The elixir, which was appraised as being worth $12,970 when it was admitted into the canon of records last year, is made with a shot of 1858 Croizet cognac worth $166,800.
And when sipping on their $10,000 martini at the Algonquin Hotel in New York, guests may want to make sure they don’t swallow the single piece of ice hiding behind their olive — a diamond from in-house jeweler Bader & Garmin.
The itinerary, created by UK-based Holidaysplease, also takes guests behind the scenes of the Dalmore distillery in Scotland and the Grey Goose factory in Cognac, France.
Here’s a selection of some of the drinks on the menu:
-Legacy by Angostura, the world’s most expensive rum
-Vieille Bon Secours, one of the world’s most expensive beers
-Dalmore Trinitas, the world’s most expensive whiskey, aged 64 years, with only three bottles ever produced
-Armand de Brignac ‘Dynastie,’ the world’s most expensive champagne collection direct from Flavio Briatore’s Billionaires Club
-Egon Muller, the world’s rarest Riesling
-Winston Cocktail, the world’s most expensive cocktail which contains a shot of 1858 Croizet cognac
-Jose Cuervo 250 Aniversario Tequila, one of the world’s most expensive tequilas
-Bader & Garrin martini that comes with a diamond from in-house jeweler Bader & Garrin
