Branded as one of the most expensive products Apple has ever produced, the Apple Watch Gold Edition can be strapped on for $17,000. A must have for affluent Apple fans, the Edition collection features eight uniquely elegant expressions of Apple Watch.
Debuting as the brand’s first device since Tim Cook took over, the Gold Edition is also the “most beautiful expression of the Apple Watch” as stated by the new CEO.
Starting at $10,000 and luring all those who have a liking for the yellow metal, the Apple Watch Gold Edition is also available in varied editions for $12,000 and $15,000. The most expensive Apple Watch Edition sports a $17,000 tag and features 38 mm case made from a customized version of 18-karat gold. Fitted with a sapphire display and a modern buckle, it also comes with a magnetic charging case. The rose gray leather strap complements the rose gold case while the bright red leather strap version strikes out with yellow gold case.
Each Apple Watch Edition features cases specially crafted from custom rose or yellow 18-karat gold alloys developed to be twice as hard as standard gold, a Retina display protected by polished sapphire crystal and a choice of uniquely designed straps and bands with 18-karat gold clasps, buckles or pins.
Dubbed by Apple as the most personal device yet and the newest innovative addition to Apple’s ecosystem, the Apple Watch collection including the Gold Edition will be available from April 24 in Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, the UK and the US. Beginning April 10, Apple Watch will be also be available for preview and try-on by appointment at Apple’s retail stores as well as for pre-order through the Apple Online Store.
