Poor Beaujolais – so maligned – yet so much offer. Take a looksee from our friends at Forbes.
I recently e-mailed a friend to ask if he wanted to taste a few cru Beaujolais with me. “No way,” he replied immediately. And he wouldn’t be the first to hear the word Beaujolais and run the other way. Such fear is always my gain. Any in-the-know wine drinker’s gain, actually, because Beaujolais is all about reasonably priced, light-bodied, serious reds–perfect for end-of-summer drinking after a few months of carefree whites and rosés. – From Forbes
