To some folk Triumph motorcycles no doubt seem somewhat quaint, a relic of an earlier era of British dominance before Japanese superbikes came along and ra-ra-wrecked the place. The 2.3 litre Rocket III Roadster is Triumph’s big middle finger to those who don’t think the world’s oldest surviving motorcycle manufacturer still has what it takes. For 2010 Triumph has given the Rocket III even more muscle via an updated version of its iconic three-cylinder 2,294 cc powerplant. – From James List
