Elon Musk’s California-based electric car company has revealed its Model S 70D, an all wheel drive electric sedan with a starting price of $75,000.
The Model S 70D gets “a slight price increase, but it’s a huge value increase,” Tesla’s chief executive, Elon Musk, said in an interview. “Customers wanted something that had more range and they really wanted all-wheel drive.”
Among its specs, the Model S 70D has a 0-60 mph time of 5.2 seconds and a 250-mile range at 65 mph.
Features include independent front and rear motors, Supercharging for free long-distance travel, Autopilot hardware, navigation and blind spot detection.
Model S cars can be ordered now, and three new colors are available: Ocean Blue, Obsidian Black and Warm Silver.
