We’re jonesing for a warm weather getaway, and there’s no place we’d rather be today than at Turks & Caicos’ Grace Bay Club, one of our favorite island retreats.
The resort has had many exciting updates over the past few months. It launched new pop-up restaurant and revamped of its signature dining outlet and lobby. Our favorite part? The new rooms, designed by “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” vet Thom Filicia.
All rooms at the resort are receiving the makeover, but the first phase of the family-friendly Villas is now complete, marking the first time in its 20-year history that the resort has partnered with a designer of Thom’s prestige in its efforts to reshape the interior redesign of its suites.
Inspired by the classic beauty and gorgeous surroundings, Filicia’s concepts mix new textures, dynamic colors and soft lighting to enhance the property’s overall atmosphere and deliver a more contemporary experience. We love the light, bright colors that are contemporary and chic without screaming “Caribbean.”
The project represents a new chapter for Filicia, who is well-known internationally for both his commercial and residential work with celebrities and luxury brands alike, including Tina Fey and Delta Airlines.
