Comedian Steve Martin is known as a ‘wild and crazy’ guy, so it’s not shocker to see his recently sold home is something akin to a concrete bunker.
The Montecito mansion was designed by Venice Beach native Roland E. Coate, Jr. It sits on nearly six acres of prime real estate, and features some beautiful ocean views. The estate sports over 7,700 square feet of living space, four bedrooms, a pool and detached guest house.
The mansion is stunning in its starkness – and would not be for everyone. The concrete – both inside and out – dominates.
The 69-year old Martin bought the mansion 10 years ago. He is one of the most influential comedians of his generation. He has been a frequent host on “Saturday Night Live” and appeared in hit films such as “The Jerk” “Roxanne” and “All of Me.”
Here’s a look at his Montecito estate.
