A short break from all that egg-painting and what not enabled me to read up on the new special edition roadster from Dutch Donkervoort (Voldemort? I love Dutch names. The founder is called “Joop”. Joop!). The Lotus-Seven-but-different design of their previous efforts have a tendency to be almost comical, with their new special edition D8 235E sadly not being much different. However, it’s always good to see quirky, off-beat muscle cars from the European mainland. – From James List
