Take something common. Make it matter
The Clip Bag is a …clip chic accessory, a playful handbag that looks like a “giant” basic office binder clip. It has a simple design and it looks rather fun than serious. The bag, made of wood felt and aluminium tubing, was designed by Peter Bristol, the creative director of a Seattle-based product development consultancy. His work is unique, clever, progressive and recognisable.
Modern means minimalism. And charcoal.
The charcoal-like Clip Bag is definitely one of those cool accessories, that add a touch of personality to your outfit. It’s the surprise element and it has “the power” to make a regular office look less dull. “The binder icon functions so well as a bag you can almost take it seriously.” It’s both, interesting and funny, how a small item, such as a binder clip, can inspire people. I suppose inspiration does exist (everywhere) but as Picasso said, “it has to find you working”. The super fun fashionable item is just a prototype, but the designer is currently looking to find a manufacturing partner.
