Shinola , a Detroit watch and bespoke bicycle manufacturer will feature Fellow Barber for an in-store pop-up in New York from June 5th through the 15th. Fellow Barber will set up a barber chair in Shinola’s flagship Tribeca store at 177 Franklin Street, to offer barber services by appointment, apothecary goods and more.
Barber services will range from men’s haircuts ($40) to buzz cuts ($20) and beard trims ($15). The pop-up will also offer straight razor shaves ($40), shave and haircut combinations ($75), and a straight razor head shave ($40). Discounts are offered to seniors and children ($10 off the haircut price).
Fellow Barber’s apothecary line of professional, barber-quality products for use in the home includes shampoo ($22), aftershave tonic ($20), shaving cream ($20), a texture paste ($22) and a strong pomade ($22). These items can also be ordered online on Fellow Barber’s website.
In 2011, Shinola , a Bedrock Manufacturing brand, was conceived with the belief that products should be built to last, and they should be built right here in America. As makers of modern, handcrafted watches, bicycles, leather goods, and journals, it is based in Detroit, a community-minded city with a strong manufacturing legacy. Shinola built its watch factory within the College for Creative Studies in the former Argonaut building.
Like Shinola , Fellow Barber maintains a commitment to excellent service and a well-curated selection of products within an engaging atmosphere. Fellow Barber practices time-honored barbershop traditions and provides clientele with the highest quality of service. All of Fellow Barber’s products are made in the USA and are paraben and sulfate free. Since opening in 2006, Fellow Barber has been the acknowledged trendsetter in reviving and popularizing time-honored barbershop traditions for contemporary men’s styles. Fellow Barber’s five shops in New York and California offer the highest quality service, without the pretensions of a salon.
Fellow Barber’s commitment to serving a diverse clientele has made each Fellow Barber location a go-to destination for superior haircuts, shaves and apothecary products. As a neighborhood shop with international recognition, Fellow Barber has been the subject of numerous press features both domestically and abroad, while also serving as the backdrop for films and television.
