Looking for something fun and unique and that is off the normal fashion map? Try the Sheep’s Tie Herra Mókollur.
These funky ties are knitted using wool from the Icelandic sheep, the animal that has formed the backbone of Icelandic life since the time of settlement over 1,000 years ago. This product is wholly Icelandic in both design and production. The tie is available in either solid colors or with a pattern. Ragna Ágústsdóttir designed the traditional Icelandic pattern that decorates the tie for a woolen sweater in the 1960s. She is one of the pioneers of the modern Icelandic woolen sweater.
Cost is about $50.
