Perched atop fascinating hills of Umbria in Italy, Casa Bramasole merges a rustic background with modern details in a picturesque landscape. What used to be just a ruin was cleverly transformed into a welcoming setting designed to accommodate eight people. Terracotta tiles alongside small windows keep the interventions to a minimum, while the sun travels across the sky after rising over Lake Trasimeno.
Welcoming guests with its imposing stone facade revived by skilled craftsmen, Casa Bramasole displays its authentic rusticity in a serene environment. Luxury and rusticity go hand in hand to create a unique place where guests replace that stagnant feeling of being overwhelmed with a relaxing collection of moments. Merging Italian authenticity with Scandinavian and Italian design, this rustic villa captures amazing design within its brick walls and across the social and private areas. Exposed beams offer a sense of history while hand-made terracotta floor tiles lie at the guest’s feet. Floors were adorned with genuine khelim rugs for a deeper connection to a luxurious lifestyle. Modern comfort was achieved by introducing heated bathroom floors in Phillippe Starck-equipped bathrooms and a solar heated swimming pool where lounging comes natural.
