Imagine a lazy afternoon in the sun – your background scenes may differ, but there are still two common features all of us think about: comfort and beauty. This is what the White Canvas On A Green Roof project is all about – a relaxation place where family and friends can get together and enjoy a few hours in each others company.
Canadian designer Martine Brisson imagined this quiet, private space as a welcoming retreat within the urban fabric. Located on top of a building, the canvas-adorned wooden terrace boasts a barbecue zone and dining space, surrounded by lush vegetation. Guests may catch glimpses of urban Montreal views, but they are more likely to enjoy the different privacy-protecting lounge and socialization spaces arranged throughout the rooftop. Fabulous places for fabulous people – that is one way to look at this inspiring rooftop terrace design!
