Burberry celebrated the launch of its first global festive campaign Monday night with a screening of its ‘From London with Love’ short film at 121 Regent Street, the Burberry global flagship store, in the heart of London.
The short, which features 50 dancers who seem to spring to life from the golden age of cinematic musicals, stars young heartthrob Romeo Beckham in a special role directed by Burberry Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey, and with music by British musician Ed Harcourt.
“This festive campaign is a celebration of everything we love at Burberry; the trench coat, the cashmere scarf, incredible music, our British weather, and working with great and talented people,” shared Bailey.
Beckham plays a boy delivering the gift of love to a young couple, portrayed by British fresh faces Hannah Dodds and Anders Hayward, who take him on a journey through Burberry’s world of all things Brit.
Of course Romeo rocks it. And that signature plaid really performs.
