2014 is proving to be a great year for super-luxury automobiles as Rolls-Royce is proving. They just announced that sales of the legendary marque have increased 33% worldwide over the same period last year.

This is due in large part to the impressive combination of the brand’s traditional heritage, luxury and style with outstanding performance and technology thanks to its partnership with BMW. It also speaks to the desireability of the full range of Rolls-Royce vehicles.

Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said, “The new Rolls-Royce Wraith has been a stunning success in the super-luxury segment, setting new modern style and technology leadership benchmarks. Wraith complements the pinnacle performance of the incomparable Rolls-Royce Phantom and the new Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II, the latter first arriving in markets in autumn this year.”

Thus we can expect even bigger things to come from the brand in the days ahead.
