Rolls-Royce celebrates the festive season by offering an outstanding opportunity for well-heeled merrymakers on the go. The British luxury auto maker has unveiled a limited edition Cocktail Hamper, which has been designed to cater to the needs of customers who wish to relax and enjoy something a little beyond the traditional glass of Champagne.Designed by Rolls-Royce Accessories Designer Sina Maria Eggl, the Hamper has been thoughtfully put together in collaboration with experts from Dorchester Collection’s London Hotels, The Dorchester and 45 Park Lane. Hand-crafted over a period of eight weeks, it has been shaped from American Walnut Wood and the finest Natural Grain Leather that adorns the interior of some Rolls-Royce motor cars. The Navy Blue leather-bound lid opens to reveal every necessary accoutrement required to create and enjoy the perfect cocktail. The paring knife is magnetically housed in a recess hewn into the American Walnut structure ensuring it is stored and transported in safety. Also an automatic integrated light illuminates the Hamper in a warm glow when open.Platinum rimmed glasses by Theresienthal, Europe’s most revered glassmaker find their place too in this exquisite portable bar. The upper tier of the Hamper, containing tumblers, decanters and a shaker, is adorned in a Golden Sand colored leather. The luxurious on-the-go cocktail hamper also includes two dishes, recipe cards and fine cotton napkins. It also comes with muddler and a strainer engraved with the ‘RR’ monogram. Finally, a perfect service is guaranteed through the inclusion of a glass tray, discreetly and safely housed beneath the integrated wooden chopping board, ensuring drinks are presented to guests in consummate Rolls-Royce luxury. As a finishing touch, a book containing a series of cocktail recipes inspired by the marque’s extraordinary heritage completes the set.
To elevate its exclusivity, only 15 such Cocktail Hampers will be available through one of the marque’s 130 dealerships worldwide. Just like Rolls Royce’s cars, this too will fly off before it hits the shelves.
