Mr Cavalli is going places! Recently he has been in news for the opening of the Just Cavalli flagship store in New York and the much awaited Cavalli Restaurant & Lounge at Miami Beach. Today we are back with bigger news about the Italian fashion house. Roberto Cavalli is set to open the brand’s largest boutique in the world in Via Montenapoleone, Milan.
Though Milan failed to make it to the top ten list of fashion capitals of the world, it still managed to woo Mr. Cavalli to be home to his label’s largest boutique.
Renowned for his flamboyant Italian style, it has also been a long journey for Cavalli as way back in 1972 he opened his first boutique in Saint-Tropez. Speaking about the largest global flagship store, Roberto Cavalli quoted, “The new five storey mega-boutique in Via Montenapoleone is almost ready! It has always been my dream… five storeys in which to present all my creations… to make you dream… a tribute to your beauty…”
All set to open up at Milan’s most fashionable shopping street on February 22nd 2014, the store will rise up to five floors. Spread over 1,500 sq. meters, each storey will be connected by a flight of stairs which will also be decked up in mother of pearl.
To mark of the opening of the world’s largest Roberto Cavalli boutique, the designer will launch a limited edition collection of apparel and accessories for women along with unique pieces of Hera bag. Another commemorative item includes a new fragrance called ‘Absolute Black’ that features over 2,500 hand-applied Swarovski crystals. It is also reported that an entire floor has been dedicated exclusively to the Roberto Cavalli Home collection.
Roberto Cavalli also mentions that the new Milan boutique will give his most loyal customers the opportunity to find some unique dresses and custom made for them.
