Starting next Thursday, ONE Bal Harbour Resort & Spa will become The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, Miami making it the tenth property in the company’s Florida portfolio.
We love this luxe enclave, and can’t even express our excitement that a Ritz-Carlton will be added to the mix.
The existing hotel is an 18-story glass signature designed tower overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal water way and sits on five sumptuous acres of landscaped gardens.
Highlights include a 750-feet of white sandy beach, a 10,000-square-foot spa with 10 private treatment rooms, and proximity to some of the area’s best luxury shopping and dining.
The small–dare we say boutique–hotel’s 124 suites have spectacular ocean-front views and feature European wood cabinetry and granite countertops, stand-alone egg-shaped tubs in bathrooms, and large terraces. Of course, you won’t spend all of your time in your room. The hotel naturally includes a large swimming pool and luxury cabanas (with private hot tubs!) We’re sure that there will be a few adjustments as the hotel transforms into a full-blown “Ritz” but we can’t wait to check it out!
