The revamped MINI Cooper will be unveiled on November 18 – the 107th birthday of Sir Alec Issigonis, the designer of the original Mini.
Key design elements include a hexagonal radiator grille, daytime running lights and jewel-like tail lights. But technology will factor heavily into the new MINI. There will be new engines (BMW’s turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines), a new front-wheel-drive platform, plus BMW models will share technology with the MINI.
Expect a hatchback, a convertible, station wagon, roadster and coupe versions of the new MINI.
