Cognac lovers rejoice. Word from Robb Report says Rémy Martin, the makers of Louis XIII cognac, will be offering visitors access to their facilities.
The makers of Louis XIII cognac have opened their elusive doors to the public, offering visitors access to the Rémy Martin private estate and cellar in the Cognac region of France. The 10-hour Louis XIII Experience, which includes tastings and a visit to the resting oak barrels that house the cognac that will age for up to 100 years, will culminate in a private dinner prepared by the executive chef of the property in either a historic distillery or a private dining room. The tour, which is about $1,155, can be customized to accommodate parties of varying sizes, and the cellar masters will teach guests to blend the cognac to their preference. – From Robb Report
