It won’t quite be a royal wedding – but for photographers, tabloids and celebrity magazines around the world, it’s almost as good.
One of the world’s most followed single women is reportedly coming off the market. Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of England’s Princess Kate (and thus sister-in-law of Prince William) has gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Nico Jackson, according to US magazine.
The 30 year old Pippa became a celebrity at her sister’s royal wedding in 2011 – upstaging the bride on numerous occasions.
The groom, age 36, is a banker who has been dating Pippa for a little over a year. Nico reportedly popped the question to Pippa while on vacation in India earlier this month. The two stayed at Oberoi Amarvilas, a five-star resort with views of the famed Taj Mahal.
The lucky couple are reportedly set to officially tie the knot sometime in 2014.
Pippa’s love life has been a favorite subject of the British tabloids. She previously has dated investment banker James Matthews, as well cricketer Alex Loudon.
