Balinese studio Ibuku designed an amazing looking holiday retreat in Bali, Indonesia. Green Village is perfectly integrated within a river valley landscape, offering a healthy and spectacular environment to its guests.
Based on the principles of sustainable architecture, the Green Village resort in Bali is being constructed mainly with the help of bamboo: “Even sustainable timber can’t begin to compare with bamboo as a conscientious building material. With very few resources or attention a bamboo shoot can become a structural column within three years, and that house could stand strong for a lifetime”, stated lead designer Elora Hardy. But the villas in this unique resort are not just environmental friendly, there are also thrilling to observe and analyze in detail. Inside and out, the original accommodation units inspire peacefulness and serenity- a genuine holiday feel. The interiors are invaded by natural light and their overall design is an open invite to meditation and relaxation.
